UKRAINIAN EASTER EGGS

On display at the Historical Society of Montgomery County are traditional Ukrainian Easter eggs. The eggs are decorated with traditional Ukrainian symbols using hot bee’s wax and a stylus or the head of a pin then colored using organic dyes. Both styles are on display which will be open to the public free of charge until April 15. The Society, located at 1654 DeKalb Street, Norristown, is open Monday & Thursday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Tuesday & Wednesday, 1 p.m.-9 p.m. For more information, call the Society at 610-272-0297.
