The Ursinus College Jazz Ensemble will present a concert on Sunday, March 17, at 4 p.m. in the Kaleidoscope Performing Arts Center’s Lenfest Theater. The event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required.
Conducted by Holly Gaines, Associate Professor of Music, the Jazz Ensemble will perform standard and new works for jazz band, in a mix of swing, ballad, and Latin styles. Included in the program will be new arrangements of the standards It Had to Be You, Lush Life and Time After Time. The band’s trumpet section will be featured in the jazz-rock Brass Machine, and the band’s seven graduating seniors will present a feature on All About the Blues.
