The Ursinus College Organic Farm is a permanent, interdisciplinary project of Ursinus College, part of their sustainability programming. Now in its ninth year, the 3-acre farm operates as a living laboratory for the campus and the community. It’s purpose is to engage the school and surrounding communities in sustainable farming practices, food systems planning, and civic engagement.
Dean Scott, Farm Director for the 2013 growing season, will be here at the library to discuss the progression of a vegetable garden through the season, the history and future of the Ursinus farm, as well as their participation in the Collegeville Farmers’ Market.
