Gallery: Audubon Recreation Association Hits the Courts
Area youth take to the basketball floor at Eagleville Elementary School.
The Audubon Recreation Association hosts children as young as 4 (pre-kindergarten) each week with both instruction and competitive leagues of basketball. The youth face off throughout the week at both Woodland and Eagleville elementary schools.
This weekend, Patch checked out some of the games in the instructional (age 7 to 8) league at Eagleville. The black Gonzoga team took on the light blue North Carolina Tarheels.
Games in the instructional league are not scored, and are designed to teach youth the fundementals of the sport. Coaches volunteer their time.
