Garage Fire Extinguished In Lower Providence

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Firefighters extinguished a garage fire at a home in Lower Providence Township on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident occurred at around 4:29 p.m. on the 5000 block of Edward Lane.

Crews arrived to find smoke showing from the roof of the garage.

The blaze was swiftly extinguished, and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is not yet clear.

Lower Providence Fire Department was assisted by Perkiomen Township Fire Company on the scene.
