A Library Trustee recognizes the importance of the Library in the community and oversees the funding of all aspects of library services including traditional services, innovative programs and new technologies.  Trustees attend monthly meetings held on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30pm.  Each Trustee serves on several committees, advocates for the Library and is encouraged to be an active participant in Library activities.  The role of a Library Trustee is both challenging and rewarding and this Board is especially suited for new Trustees.

Applications for the position of Trustee are now available at the library and will be accepted through December 12, 2013. Applicants must be a Lower Moreland Township resident. The Library Board of Trustees is working to have this vacancy on the Board filled by January 1, 2014.
