Tai Chi is used to treat a variety of health conditions.

Although Tai Chi was developed for self-defense, it has changed over the years into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and a variety of other health conditions. Often described as meditation in motion, Tai Chi promotes serenity through gentle, flowing movements. As the practice focuses on movement and posture it helps increase and maintain balance and coordination.
Tai Chi is low impact and puts little stress on muscles and joints, so it is safe for a variety of ages and fitness levels. Since Tai Chi is low impact, it may be especially beneficial if you're an adult who might not exercise.
The Senior Adult Activites Center of Montgomery County (Montco SAAC) is offering another eight-week session of Tai Chi in the beautiful community room at Timberlake Apartments, 2803 Stanbridge Street in East Norriton. Located two traffic lights west of the intersection of Swede Road and Germantown Pike, the apartments offer an air conditioned facility and parking.
