LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Local motorists were carjacked in Lower Providence over the weekend, police said.

The incident occurred on Saturday, Aug. 8 at around 7:30 p.m. on the 2800 block of Ridge Pike, a commercial area.

The suspects robbed a maroon Honda CRV from a parking lot along this stretch, police said, and fled east towards Norristown.

The two victims were not injured.
