South Park Avenue has been shut down in Lower Providence Township after a pole was split in two during an accident Tuesday afternoon, police said.The closure is in effect from Ridge Pike to Eagleville Road, as of about 1:40 p.m.Verizon is on the scene repairing the pole, police said.The road will be closed for at least four hours.No injuries have been reported.More information will be provided as it becomes available.
