Man Steals $10,000 In Pokemon Cards From Montco Store: Police

One of the cards alone was worth more than $4,000, state police said.

TRAPPE, PA — A man stole around $10,000 worth of Pokemon cards from a Montgomery County store earlier in May, and authorities are seeking clues in the case, Pennsylvania State Police said.

The theft occurred on May 4 at the Nashcards location on West Main Street in Trappe, at around 11:20 a.m.

Police said that the man above, described only as an Asian male in his 20s, perused the store for a while, grabbed several items, and fled on foot at around 11:46 a.m.

Stolen Pokemon cards include a PN Gengar VMAX 108781525 PSA 10 card valued at $2,500, a 2005 Pokémon Star Metagross Delta Species 139716038 PSA 6 card valued at $2,850, and a sealed Pokémon Base Set XY Booster Box valued at $4,200, state police said.
