Methacton Pop Warner Cheerleaders Heading to Nationals

The Methacton Junior Midget cheerleaders placed second on Saturday at a competition in Albany, N.Y., earning themselves a trip to Nationals in Orlando in December.

" It’s an honor for our girls from our community to move to Disney and represent our community," said cheer director Danie Leitham.

The squad is holding a fundraiser to make sure all the girls will be able to attend nationals. A "Beef and Beer" will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Nov. 23 at Screwballs in King of Prussia. Tickets are $30, or $35 at the door.
