LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — After-school athletics and student activities are canceled at Methacton Schools for Wednesday, September 1 as the remnants of Hurricane Ida chug across Pennsylvania.

The district says students will be dismissed as normal Wednesday.

Forecasters warn as much as 6 inches of rain could fall in Eastern Pennsylvania and parts of New Jersey. A flash flood watchis in place in Montgomery County and across the region.
