Starting on June 19th!...Warriors Boys Basketball Academy Gr. 3-8
For boys going into grades 3 to 8. Warrior Boys Basketball Camp is designed to provide opportunities for basketball skill development in a fun and competitive environment. Learn and improve fundamental basketball skills on an individual and team level. Interact with hardworking basketball specialists who are interested in helping and encouraging young players. Enjoy a competitive and challenging basketball experience while focusing on good sportsmanship and rules of the game. The camp features: * Individualized skill instruction * Team offensive and defensive strategies * Fun Competitions (hot shot, knockout, king of the court, etc.) * Tournament Play (1 on 1, 2 on 2, 3 on 3) * 5 on 5 league games * Motivational speakers * Awards * Camp T-Shirt. We also will have a concession stand where lunches will be available for purchase. The camp staff includes members of the Methacton High School Boys Basketball coaching staff, along with current and former Methacton players. Please note: Please bring packed lunch and water every day, or purchase lunch at our concession stand.

Kids Time Red, White & Blue Gr. 1-6
Kids will have a very patriotic week in preparation for the 4th of July holiday! We’ll have fun with an assortment of games played in the gym, along with swimming on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Our craft time will also have a patriotic theme! Our goal is for campers to have a great day in a safe, kid-friendly environment.

This class is designed for young artists who are ready to create organic forms with clay. We will use ideas about the outside environment in our design work and actually use clay from a local creek. Three-dimensional form will be taught as well as low relief sculpture. Various finishing techniques will be explored ranging from staining to glazing. We will have individual projects and creative group endeavors. Students are encouraged to bring a shirt as a protective covering from our clay adventures. There will be a $15.00 lab fee collected at the beginning of class for all clay and glazes. Instructor: Beth Hall, MHS Art Teacher.

Warriors Elite Boys Basketball Gr. 5-6
For boys entering 5 and 6th grades. LEARN BASKETBALL "THE WARRIOR WAY". Train to be your best! Warrior Elite Basketball Academy is designed for highly motivated players, seeking an opportunity to challenge themselves in a goal-oriented, skill development program. Training sessions include the following: * Individual skill instruction * Drills to improve fundamental skills * Team offensive and defensive strategies * Half-court and full-court scrimmage games * Film study and analysis. The Elite Basketball Academy staff is comprised of Methacton Head Basketball Coach Jeff Derstine and members of the Methacton High School Coaching Staff. Please note: Bring plenty of water daily. Field Hockey camp for girls ages 6 to 13. Come join us for the 2nd annual field hockey camp on the new turf fields at Methacton High School. The camp is for girls entering 1st-8th grade. The camp will be divided in groups for elementary and middle school players. Players will be placed with girls from their school and requests for placements will also be taken. The focus of the camp will be skill development, small side games, tactical drills, game play and of course fun! Swimming at MHS pool on Tuesdays and Wednesdays included. This camp is for all level players from beginner to advanced. Each camper will receive a t-shirt. Snacks and drinks will be for sale at camp. Coaching staff will include Head Coach Sarah Quintois, members of the Methacton coaching staff, current MHS players, along with college players.
Come join us on an adventure designed especially for you as we explore creative writing through music, nature, and art! You will enjoy many creative writing exercises and activities that will help you grow as a creative writer while having fun!Instructor: Lee Ann Van Der Kwast, fellow of the Pennsylvania Writing and Literature Project, currently teaches creative writing at Methacton High School.

Our Kids Time Camps run June 26th through June 28th. These camps are run by Methacton School District certified teachers, with a registered nurse on the premises during camp hours. Camps include fun fitness activities as well as arts and crafts that correspond with a weekly theme. Tuesday and Thursday mornings, students will be bussed to and from Methacton High School to swim! Our goal is for campers to have a great day in a safe, kid-friendly environment.
