Norristown Elects President And Vice President Of Muncipal Council
The annual meeting determined leadership in the borough for the upcoming year.

NORRISTOWN, PA - The annual reorganization meeting in Norristown on Monday night determined leadership in the borough for the upcoming year.
Every year, the first Monday of January is devoted to the reorginization.
Councilwoman Sonya Sanders was reappointed as President. Sanders, a lifelong Norristown native, works for a financial investment company where she has been employed for over 21 years.

Derrick Perry, meanwhile, was reappointed Vice President.
Councilwoman Olivia Brady was sworn in for another term along with two new members, Hakim Jones and Heather Lewis.

They will join current members Councilman Marlon Millner and Councilwoman Valerie Scott Cooper on the council.
