Overnight Fire Battled At Norristown Home

The investigation into the blaze continues Tuesday.

NORRISTOWN, PA — First responders battled a heavy fire in the early morning hours Tuesday at a home in Norristown.

The incident occurred on the 900 block of West Airy Street at around 12:39 a.m.

Norristown Police were at the home for an unrelated incident when the fire began on the third floor.

The blaze quickly developed and Norristown Fire Department, who are headquartered just next door, responded immediately.

The blaze was extinguished without further incident and crews were clear of the scene in just over an hour.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is not known and is under investigation.
