Park Avenue To Be Restricted For Months In Lower Providence

PennDOT said lane closures should be expected through April.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — Park Avenue will be restricted for the next several months in Lower Providence Township as work gets underway, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

Utility construction will shut down a lane from Borton Road to Jode Road.

The altered traffic pattern will be in place from Jan. 19 through April 30, on Mondays through Thursdays, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Traffic will be controlled by flagging.

Additional congestion is expected. Drivers should use caution in the area and plan on delays as work is completed, PennDOT said.
