Montgomery County Couple Allegedly Victimized Seniors: DA

A Montgomery County couple who owns a business in Fort Washington took money from victims by creating credit accounts, police told NBC10.

Police are seeking a Montgomery County couple accused of stealing approximately $124,000 from people through identity theft, according to a report by NBC10.

Eric and Portia Martin, owners of Fort Washington-based Centra Spike Inc., an HVAC company, stole the money from victims by creating credit accounts, police told NBC10.

Victims reportedly said they hadn’t even hired the company to do heat or AC repair and are unsure how the couple got their information.

According to a description given by police, Eric Martin, 33, reportedly has black hair and brown eyes. He is 6 feet, 1 inch and weighs 240 pounds. Portia Martin, 29, reportedly has black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet, 2 inches and weighs 140 pounds.

Police believe the couple may be in Philadelphia or Maryland, NBC10 said.
