River Road To Shut Down In Lower Providence, Skippack
Additional traffic should be expected in the nearby area.
LOWER PROVIDENCE TOWNSHIP, PA — River Road and Creek Road in Skippack and Lower Providence townships will be shut down for construction work this month, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
Base repair operations will close the road from Germantown Pike to Route 113.
The closure will be underway from Monday, April 20 to Friday, April 24 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.

The detour will take drivers to Germantown Pike, Ridge Pike, Route 29 (First Avenue/Gravel Pike), and Bridge Road, PennDOT said.
