Salter's Fireplace Store Moving To Old Culligan Facility In March
The 40-year-old business is heading to a new spot.
Salter's Fireplace, Patio, & Grill in Lower Providence is getting some new digs this March as it will move from its current Ridge Pike location to another Ridge Pike location.
According to the Lower Providence Township Business Development Committee, the business that has been a staple for 40 years in the township will move to the Culligan facility on Ridge Pike.
In March, the business' operations center – vehicles, technicians, installers and warehousing – will move into the Culligan facility. The showroom will remain at its current location, getting a facelift as well as an additional 3,000 square feet of space. A future two-story center will provide 18,000 square feet of warehouse, training facility and operations center space at the Culligan site.

“It’s not the same mom and pop business as when we bought it,” owner Jay Stong says and emphasizes that unlike most of his competitors, he employs full-time, factory-trained technicians. The business does residential work and, increasingly, commercial design and installations throughout the region.
