ShoreCast: Not Completely Perfect

Scattered thunderstorms are expected for the first part of the weekend, but may be pretty nice by Sunday.

The weekend's weather at the Shore and Delaware Beaches will not be perfect but for summer it will have to do.  Saturday will the warmer and more stormy of the two days this weekend as a disturbance in the atmosphere crosses the region during the day.

Scattered thunderstorms will break out in the afternoon hours and cross the region.  The best chance for more numerous thunderstorm activity at the Shore or down in Delaware will be in the late afternoon and early evening hours but they could be around even in the morning hours as well.

This disturbance will push off the coast Saturday night, bringing a pretty nice Sunday to the region.  There could be a stray shower or storm in Delaware in the afternoon but odds favor mostly dry weather.

Saturday's highs could reach 90 in Delaware on Saturday afternoon, in the upper 80's at the Jersey Shore.  Sunday will be in the 80's along the coast regardless of location with lower humidity levels.
