Tractor Trailer Flips Over On Trooper Road Ramp On US 422

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A tractor trailer flipped over on the Trooper Road 422 ramp early Thursday morning, authorities said.

The incident occurred at around 5 a.m. on the eastbound ramp of 422 in Lower Providence.

The vehicle, a Lehigh Valley Dairy Pure truck, lost control as it came to the ramp and flipped over on its side, authorities said.

The driver was able to free himself before first responders arrived. He was injured in the accident, and taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The Trooper Road ramp was closed for hours in the wake of the accident as wrecking crews worked to clear the scene, leading to delays during the morning commute.
