Two Hospitalized, One Critical, After Montco Fire: Report

One of the two injured individuals was in critical condition.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA -- Two people were hospitalized Friday morning after a house fire in Upper Providence, according to a report.

The blaze began at about 7 a.m. on Cochise Lane near Wampenog Circle, fire officials said.

The fire, which was restricted to the rear of the home, was put out within minutes, the Pottstown Mercury said.

One of the two injured individuals was in critical condition. Both were taken to Phoenixville Hospital.

The cause of the fire is not clear at this time.

The home only suffered minor damage, WFMZ reported.
