Upper Providence Man Had Child Porn Of Pre-School Aged Girls: DA
Police found numerous videos of child pornography on the man's computer, according to the DA.

UPPER PROVIDENCE, PA — An Upper Providence man has been arrested after authorities found numerous videos of child pornography on his computer, the Montgomery County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.
Richard Gilbert, 31, a resident of Sheffield Court, faces numerous felony counts.
An investigation began back on Dec. 24, 2019 when authorities received a cybertip regarding a suspicious download of jpg files, the DA's Office said.

The videos appeared to show adults sexually abusing pre-school aged children, officials said.
Authorities traced a Gmail account associated with the upload to Gilbert's phone number, and obtained a search warrant for his home on Jan. 22, according to police.

Ten separate files of child pornography were found when Gilbert's desktop computer was analyzed, including images of babies being sexually assaulted, the DA said.
Gilbert was not arraigned until July 22. He was released Wednesday on $50,000 bail.
A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 18.
