UPDATE: Road Closed After Vehicle Crashes Into Downed Pole In Audubon

Traffic could be affected coming into or heading out of the Norristown area.

A vehicle crashed into a downed pole in Audubon on Friday morning, snarling traffic in the area.

The incident occurred on the 400 block of South Park Avenue near the intersection with Woodland Avenue.

It was first reported at about 9:17 a.m.

Park Avenue was shut down between Eagleville and Ridge after the accident, and remained shut down at 11:20 a.m.

Motorists should expect delays in the surrounding area. Traffic could be affected coming into or heading out of the Norristown area.

Eyewitnesses said that a car remained flipped over at the scene of the accident at 11:15 a.m.

Several homes in the area have lost power, according to the Times Herald, and PECO crews were on the scene at about noon.

No injuries have been reported.
