Water Rescue In Progress On Schuylkill River

A water rescue is in progress in Pottstown, according to Montgomery County Active Incidents.

Rescue crews were called to the scene on South Hanover Street at 8:22 a.m., authorities said.

A male victim was trapped under the Hanover Street Bridge in mud up to his waist, officials said.

Emergency crews from Goodwill Steam Fire Engine Company Ambulance were on the scene.
