Weekend House Fire In Lower Providence Under Investigation
Firefighters battled off temperatures plummeting into the single digits as they extinguished a weekend fire in the area.

LOWER PROVIDENCE, PA — A weekend fire that damaged a home in Lower Providence is under investigation.
The incident occurred on Sunday afternoon on N. Grange Avenue.
The fire was first reported as a vehicle fire, which quickly spread to the garage.

Firefighters responded to the scene, laying a supply line from Grange Avenue because there were no hydrants in the area.
With temperatures plunging into the single digits and the wind chill even lower, the blaze was extinguished.

No injuries were reported. The cause of the blaze is not yet known.
Crews from Collegeville, Worcester, Skippack, Upper Providence, Blackrock, Jeffersonville, Perkiomen, Trappe, Norriton, and King of Prussia assisted on the scene, as well as Skippack EMS and Lower Providence EMS and police.
