FEASTERVILLE, PA — A car fire on Bustleton Pike took firefighters over 750 gallons of water and two dry chemical extinguishers to end, fire officials said.
The Feasterville Fire Company responded to the side of Bustleton Pike in front of Richman's on Thursday.
Firefighters found a car with a fire being fueled by its own gasoline tank.
Fire officials said that due to the nature of the flammable gas fire, Lower Southampton Fire Department No.1 joined to battle the blaze.
Over 750 gallons of water, and two dry chemical extinguishers were used to extinguish this fire, fire officials said.
The accident is being investigated by the Lower Southampton Police Department.
