Bristol Road Stretch Closing This Week For Road Repairs

Utility construction by the Upper Southampton Municipal Authority will close a stretch of Bristol Road starting on Monday.

LOWER SOUTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — Utility construction by the Upper Southampton Municipal Authority will close a stretch of Bristol Road starting on Monday.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Monday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Bristol Road will be closed and detoured between Route 532 (Buck Road) and Bustleton Pike.
• During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 532 (Buck Road), Route 213 (Bridgetown Pike), and Bustleton Pike.

Local access will be maintained.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or through the detour route because backups and delays may occur.

All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
