Apartment Fire Contained With No Injuries In Bensalem Township
The Nottingham Fire Department responded to a second-floor fire at the Bucks Meadows Apartments just after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —An apartment fire broke out early Wednesday afternoon that was contained with no injuries, Nottingham Fire Department officials and Bensalem Fire Rescue reported.
At 1:39 p.m. Wednesday, the Nottingham Fire Department were dispatched to a fire with Ladder 65 responding to Bucks Meadows Apartments, 3131 Knights Road, for an apartment fire in Building 7.
MSU 185 (mobile stroke unit ) reported a fire in an apartment in the rear of the complex.

Ladder 65 arrived first followed by special service and Engine 222 when BC222 assumed Bensalem command.
Crews found one apartment off on the second floor, fire officials said.

Station 16, 44 ,88 and 37 assisted on the fire ground.
Bensalem Fire Rescue said Bensalem EMS responded and that heavy fire was showing from the second floor. Engine 222 established a water supply and went in-service with a 1.5” waterline along with Special Service 222.
Ladder 65 laddered the building and performed searches, which were negative. Command also placed Tower 16 and Engine 88 in-service and had all other responding units stage.
No injuries were reported and two apartments were damaged by the fire and smoke.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by fire investigators with Bensalem Township Fire Rescue.
