Board of Supervisors Approve Playwicki Farm Foundation Event

In an effort to find new ways to raise money to support , the Playwicki Farm Foundation President June Olson presented plans for a fundraising event to the Lower Southampton Board of Supervisors, which they approved Wednesday night.

Since the board approved it, the Playwicki Farm Foundation will move foward with its event "A Taste at Playwicki Farm," which will feature six to eight food vendors with beer and wine pairings, Olson said.

Olson also said that Rose McMenamin, the wife of board supervisor John McMenamin, had volunteered her event planning services to the foundation to help execute this fundraiser.

The event will be held at Playwicki September 30 from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets will be $40 per person or $75 for two, however they are not yet on sale.
