Really? No, not really, but as one local resident states, she is being invaded by little ninja turtles in her back yard.
Wildlife are trying to find other locations in which to survive. Their habitats are being taken by developments. Turtles travel on long trrips to find new homes for themselves or to find mates. Sometimes they do not make it due to human intervention. But even though they may appear to be plentiful in your area, turtle populations are slowly twindling down. You may see them trying to cross the roadway in their search for a new area to live. We can't save them all, but we can try. If you come across one attempting to cross the road, please pull over safely, put your hazard lights on, proceed safely and cautiously in taking the turtle to the other side of the road. If you see them in your yard, please leave them alone, they will wander away to a safe location to find a home. Please help us to preserve the natural habitats of our area - the wildlife.
