Not Your Everyday Mom Blog

$5 stress busters from Dr Oz and my own personal approach for free- you take the Pepsi challenge!

Day two of blogging. I want to ease my way into this. I don't want to overwhelm anybody with the ' I have a bladder of an 80 year old woman ' story or the 'being a mom has taught me to not fear boogers' masterpiece.

Lots of ideas but that is quickly interrupted by the child sitting next to me instead of being at school. She has a stomach ache and a headache. How can you tell if its real or just some extra needed stay at home time? I think I'm safe on this one knowing her personality as a good student and overachiever. She doesn't like to break the rules. (...how can she be my kid?) So for now- the gym is on hold and I also get some much appreciated downtime. WHICH MEANS--- I can watch daytime TV--- whoo hoo!

I found Dr Oz. Never saw it before- very interesting. Might be DVR worthy if I had time to actually watch TV. He is showing $5 stress busters and they are on his website. The scalp massager looks good although I don't like having a creepy mall kiosk employee rub it on my head. It's for sale online too.

What about a foot massage? Have you had one lately? That's one suggestion and it's free. The crystals in the bottom of your feet are the end of your nerves. One of the best therapies is to rub lotion on your feet and wrap with warm socks. That works for colds too with vicks vapo rub. Try it! You'll like it.

Or try them all- rub your head and feet while beating off a creepy kiosk worker. Whatever you do- take care of yourself.
