Sully is a happy 7-year-old hunk of handsome who makes friends easily and just wants to be a part of the family routine. Although he is currently in a foster home without kids or cats, he lived happily with both in his previous home of seven years.
Sully is a very devoted dog and will attach himself to you instantly. Once he gets to know you are his person, you will be the complete focus of his attention.
Don't let his age fool you though! At 7 years old, Sully is not ready to retire from a more active lifestyle, although he is delighted to rest and re-energize at your feet after a day of fun. He has the energy of a youngster and he can be protective and will benefit from firm consistent guidance and plenty of mental and physical stimulation.
When Sully first became a part of the Save a Shepherd Rescue Alliance [SASRA] family, he tipped the scales at nearly 110 pounds. He is now down to a much healthier lean 89 pounds, but is still an impressive and imposing fellow. This big guy will need an active home and would be happy to have a playmate of ample size to romp with.
