Child Care Services to be Available During the Strike

Should the Neshaminy teachers move forward with , Neshaminy Kids Club will be offering child care for elementary age Neshaminy students.

According to a phone message from Superintendent Louis Muenker on the district's website, the Neshaminy Kids Club will be offering partial or full-day child care at Herbert Hoover, and Samuel Everitt elementary schools. Full-day child care is from 7:15 a.m. until 6 p.m. and $25 per child. Partial care is from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and is $20 per child. For families that have more than one child, the second child is $15 and the third child is free. Parents need to provide a bagged lunch for their children, but Neshaminy Kids Club can provide juice or milk and two snacks.

According to the Neshaminy Kids Club website, registered students can come to the program as usual. If a child is not already registered, parents will need to bring a credit card or check on the first day and fill out a registration form for emergency contact information.
