Lower Southampton and the Revolutionary War

Come to the Township Library and meet Historical Re-enactor, Michael Jesberger as he presents a program on the American Revolution in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Mike will display and talk about reproduction-period items including uniforms and maps. He will tell us the story of the common soldiers who fought in the Revolution and the various incidents that took place in the Lower Southampton area and neighboring villages and towns of Bucks County. Mr. Jesberger is a member of The Revolutionary War Burial site Committee in Langhorne Borough, Bucks County, PA which is the final resting place of 166 Continental Soldiers of the American Revolution. He is also the current President of the 1^st New Jersey Infantry Regiment - a Revolutionary War Reenacting Organization.
