Flood Advisory Issued for Bucks and Montgomery Counties
The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for Bucks and Montgomery Counties.

The National Weather Service issued a flood advisory for Bucks and Montgomery Counties, which will remain in effect until 10:15 p.m. tonight.
At 6:20 p.m., the Weather Service's doppler radar indicated areas of heavy rain developing in Southeastern Pennsylvania. At 7:35 p.m., the doppler radar continued to indicate areas of heavy rain in the area.
The areas of rain are slow moving and they are capable of producing one to two inches of rain with locally higher amounts, according to the advisory.

Rainfall amounts of an inch or two have already fallen at a number of locations, with a few spots receivng an excess of two inches.
While rainfall rates are diminishing, some places could receive an additional ince of rain this evening.

The heavy rain will result in flooding in areas of poor drainage and along some roadways. Minor flooding may also occur along some small streams and creeks.
