Lower Southampton Township: Yard Waste Collection Update & Information – July 23, 2021

J.P. Mascaro & Sons continues to experience delayed collections for trash, recycling and yard waste due to the nationwide labor shortage/economic conditions. Please note that the Administration continues to work and press J.P. Mascaro to resolve the issues as soon as possible.

To provide an alternative option for YARD WASTE ONLY, J.P. Mascaro will place a truck and attendant in the parking lot at 1500 Desire Avenue (in front of the old courthouse) to accept yard waste from Lower Southampton Township residents on certain days.

This is not a replacement of the services that JP Mascaro is to provide the Township.  This does not release them of their obligation to pick up yard waste.  This service has also recently been done at Northampton and Upper Southampton Townships for their residents.

YARD WASTE DROP OFF HOURS

Saturday, July 24th – 8:30 AM to 4 PM

Monday, July 26th – 8:30 AM to 4 PM

PLEASE NOTE:  Curb side collection of yard waste will remain on Thursdays for all Township residents. Therefore, please leave all yard waste at the curb for collection. The drop off service is only an alternative should residents wish to dispose of yard waste before your next scheduled yard waste collection.
