Neshaminy High School Celebrates Gym Night

Neshaminy High School students celebrated their 59th Gym night this weekend, which was themed “As seen on TV”.

Students dressed up as icons of TV and music past and present, including such stars as Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, Gilligan’s Island, Beyonce and Madonna. Students also participated in games of tug of war and relay races. Senior baskeball star Ryan Arcidiacono came out dressed a Neshaminy cheerleader outfit, which got the crowd roaring.

Each year, the student body is split into two teams: red and blue. Gym Night weekend is full of dance exhibitions that are designed and choreographed by the students, and relays between the Red and Blue teams. Each team also votes for their captains. This year, the blue team's captains were Gwen George and Austin Gardener. The red team's captains were Allison Prencavage and Kevin Murray.
