Neshaminy School District Receives Monetary Donations
The Neshaminy School District has received two monetary donations to benefit district students.

At Tuesday's , Superintendent Louis Muenker announced that the district had received two monetary donations.
Community member and IBM business executive Larry Pastor, of Middletown Township, worked with his employer to provide the school district with a $10,000 grant.

Muenker said that there had been some preliminary discussions on the best way to use the grant money, but the definitive use of that money will be announced to the community in the spring. He did, however, assure the community that the grant would not be used to close the 2012-2013 budget gap,

In addition to the grant, Muenker announced that Senator Tommy Tomlinson (R-6) wrote a check to the school district two weeks ago in the amount of $2,800 that will be used to "benefit activities of children in the district."
Muenker stated that the district will be looking at how to best use that money.
Both Pastor and Muenker encouraged other community members and/or companies' monetary donations to the district, regardless of how big or small, would be "greatly appreciated."
"I’d like to thank IBM and Larry Pastor for being a great corporate neighbor, we do appreciate it and we hope others will follow your lead,” school board President Ritchie Webb said.
