NFT, School Board Enter Final Best Offer Phase of Arbitration

The Neshaminy School Board and NFT have entered the final best offer phase of non-binding arbitration.

Neshaminy School Board President Ritchie Webb announced Tuesday that the board and Neshaminy Federation of Teachers have entered into the final best offer stage of non-binding arbitration.

During this stage of arbitration, Webb said that both parties are required to make their final best offers available to the public. Copies of the offers will be made available in district offices district at Maple Point Middle School, for a fee, or will be available on the district website Wednesday.

In addition to the offers being made public, community members can make comments on the offers in writing or electronically that will be forwarded to the arbitrator. These comments should be sent to Superintendent Louis Muenker.

Webb announced on the Neshaminy Contract Negotiations blog February 14 that the board and union had agreed on an arbitrator, selected from a list provided by the American Arbitration Association, and were
