Board Rescinds School Lane Charter School Agreement
The Neshaminy School Board rescinded an agreement with the School Lane Charter School.

The voted Tuesday evening to rescind the charter granted to the School Lane Charter School in July.
Prior to the 8-1 vote to rescind the charter, school board President Ritchie Webb said that it was his recommendation to that the charter approval be rescinded because the charter school did not lock in a location within the Neshaminy borders.
According to the motion, which was made by board member Kim Koutsouradis, the agreement the board made with School Lane Charter School in July was contigent on the charter school leasing or purchasing the old Eisenhower Elementary School building located in Middletown Township.

The School Lane Charter School, which is based in Bensalem, was scheduled to open for the 2012-2013 school year as a kindergarten through fifth grade school and eventually expand to a kindergarten through 12th grade.
