Township Seeks Residents' Help with West Nile Virus Alert

Lower Southampton Township is seeking township residents' help with the West Nile Virus Alert.

The township is asking that if you see any abandoned, neglected pools to call the its zoning department at 215-357-7300 ext. 307.

When you call the zoning department, the township is asking that you give as much information as possible to help get it treated.

They need to identify the problem "as fast as possible," but will need the exact address or name of the property owner.

"Sometimes the only way to see some of these is through the eyes of our residents and we want to be as pro active as possible," township officials stated on the township's website.
