1 Year Later: Search Continues For Malvern's Anna Maciejewska

The 43-year-old mother went missing April 10, 2017. A local group is petitioning authorities to convene a grand jury in the investigation.

MALVERN, PA – One year ago, a 43-year-old Malvern mother of one disappeared. And even 365 days later the search for Anna Maciejewska continues.

Maciejewska was last seen leaving her home on Hedgerow Lane in Malvern at about 9:45 a.m. Monday, April 10, 2017.

She was driving a navy blue Audi A4 vehicle with a Pennsylvania license plate HTF2919, which Pennsylvania State Police located Maciejewska's blue vehicle on May 8 in the Charlestown Meadows overflow parking lot on Ashtree Drive.

She is 5-feet 4-inches tall, weight about 160 pounds and has hazel eyes and blonde hair.

Her disappearance spurred locals to form a group called "Finding Anna Maciejewska" which held a vigil and launched a GoFundMe campaign to assist in the search.

And now the group is looking for more signatories on a petition urging Chester County District Attorney Thomas Hogan to convene a grand jury in Maciejewska's murder investigation.

State Police searched her home Thursday, July 20

Maciejewska's husband previously allowed the home to be searched, but has since barred investigators from entering the home and hired an attorney.

Pennsylvania State Police were notified about Maciejewska's disappearance after she failed to show up for work on Monday, April 10 and Tuesday, April 11

In late May 2017, her brother-in-law from Poland ventured to the US to meet with authorities on the mysterious disappearance.
