2 Charged In Alleged Killing Of Young Chester County Father: Report
The victim was reportedly shot in the head at point-blank range.

Two men have been charged in the fatal shooting of a West Chester father on July 27, according to a Daily Local News report.
Leyron Johns, 19, allegedly shot Joseph Torres, 27, in the head during a drug sale in Chester, according to the report. The incident occurred in the rear of the Mano’s Gulf station in the 900 block of Kerlin Street.
Ronald Myers, an alleged accomplice, identified Johns as the man who shot Torres, the report states.

After the shooting the pair fled the scene, throwing the drugs in a pill bottle on the roof of a nearby Sunoco gas station and stealing Torres’ truck, according to the report.
Torres, who was married and enjoyed playing basketball and being with his daughter, was a union carpenter, the report states.
