2 Main Line Bars Among Philly Mag's 50 Best
Two Main Line watering holes are among the 50 best in Philadelphia, according to Philly Magazine. Have you stopped in for a drink?

The Main Line is chock-full of great places to eat and drink, with more and more options every month it seems.
But two bars stand out among the crowd, according to Philadelphia Magazine.
Two popular Main Line spots were featured in Philadelphia Magazine's new list of the 50 Best Bars in Philadelphia.

Despite not being in the city proper, the magazine featured a bar in Wayne and a bar in Ardmore on the list.
Over in Wayne, Teresa's Next Door was listed in the magazine's "where the neighbors go" section. Ardmore's The Ripplewood was featured in the "cocktail bars" section.

Here's what the magazine has to say about the Teresa's:
Twenty-eight taps with interesting brews, a curated wine list (and shop!), lots of whiskeys, and tenders who know the difference between mixing with Schweppes and Fever-Tree — add it all up (it’s a really comfortable place to drink, too) and you get a 2018 James Beard semi-finalist for Outstanding Bar Program. That Teresa’s didn’t win was a crime.
Teresa's is no stranger to being held in high regard either.
It's been a Philly's Mag Best Of winner for several years.
This year, it was a finalist in the James Beard Awards.
Craig LaBan, the Philadelphia Inquirer food critic, also said Teresa's Next Door "has blossomed into what may well be the single greatest place to drink well in the suburbs, no matter what your beverage preference."
As for The Ripplewood, a relative newcomer to the Main Line food and drink scene, Philly Mag says this:
The Rip's staff takes great pride in their cocktail craftsmanship. And thank God they do, because without them, Ardmore would still be thirsting for a place that can shake up a decent daiquiri, let alone a great one.
It recently won top honors in the Cutthroat Cocktail and in the Judges' Choice Taco Takedown competitions at the 2018 Philly Burger Brawl.
Not to mention LaBan had nothing but good things to say about it.
