$75,000 in 4 Days. Can They Do It? The Foundation at Great Valley in final push for $150,000 in support of GVSD schools.
The Foundation at Great Valley asks the community to donate before Friday, October 30 in support of new programs for GVSD students.

Local non-profit, The Foundation at Great Valley, has raised $75,000 for GVSD public schools since September 1, half of what it set as its fundraising goal. With only four days left in the campaign, organizers say they expect to meet or exceed their goal of $150,000 when the campaign closes on October 30.
“We have traditionally seen more than half of our annual donations come in the final days of the campaign,” said Foundation President Beth McGarrigle. “The Great Valley community steps up, year after year, to support our schools. They know that tax dollars alone can no longer support the innovation we’ve come to expect for our students. They also know that a strong educational system builds a stronger community. Everyone in Great Valley has a reason to be invested in our public schools.”
Named in 2015 as Non-Profit of the Year by the Great Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce, The Foundation at Great Valley annually awards funding in support of teacher grants and key initiatives to the Great Valley School District. Short videos that highlight funded projects and initiatives are featured on the Foundation’s website.
