87th Radnor Hunt Races Coming To Malvern May 20

MALVERN, PA – The 87th Radnor Hunt Races are all set for next weekend and this year's event will help out the Brandywine Conservancy's open space and clean water programs. The event will be held Saturday, May 20 at the W. Burling Cocks Memorial Race Course at Radnor Hunt, 826 Providence Road, Malvern.

If you plan to attend the horse racing event, act quickly as passes and parking spots are only available through Friday, May 12.

There are many options for passes and parking for the event. Tickets start at just $75 per car.

The race grounds open at 10 a.m. Races will begin at 1:30 p.m. There are six races, all of which have sizeable purses for winners. The total purse is $190,000.

This year, the tailgate theme is "Frolic Along the Brandywine."

The theme is inspired by the late George A. “Frolic” Weymouth, who was one of the founders of the Brandywine Conservancy & Museum of Art.
