• Chester County Expands Fall Vaccine Access Across Region (mychesco.com) — Chester County is bringing free or low-cost flu and COVID-19 shots directly to Malvern, starting with a clinic at Great Valley Middle School on September 24. Additional clinics will run across the county through November and at the West Chester Government Services Center through December, giving Malvern residents multiple convenient options to get protected before respiratory season peaks.
• Raw Chicken, Flies, Leaks Found at Exton Restaurant (mychesco.com) — Chester County health inspectors recently cited several restaurants, including Moca Asian Cuisine and other Malvern establishments, for food-safety violations ranging from improper handwashing to unsafe food temperatures. Telangana Spice Kitchen in Exton faced the most serious issues and had to correct problems before reopening, while many other area locations, including several in Malvern, were found in compliance after inspections.
• After Five Years, Phoenixville's Sly Fox Brewing Closes Downtown Pittsburgh Location (vista.today) — Sly Fox Brewing has closed its downtown Pittsburgh taphouse, but its Pennsylvania locations in Phoenixville, Pottstown, Malvern, and Wyomissing remain open and will still honor gift cards. For Malvern beer fans, that means your local Sly Fox spot is unaffected and continues pouring as usual while the company refocuses outside the Pittsburgh market.
