Arts Project Honors Malvern's 125th Birthday

Malvern is celebrating its 125th birthday with a community arts project.

Malvern Borough is turning 125 this year, and the Malvern Community Arts Project is marking the occasion by decorating the lobby of the Malvern Public Library with paintings.

The paintings will trace the history of Malvern through time, from 1889 up until the present day.

The largest painting in series, a rendition of King Street today, was completed and installed on Tuesday by artist Randall Graham.

The Arts Project has previously executed three other public arts projects in Malvern at Malvern Pizza, Gallagher’s Auto Services, the Children’s Room in our Library. They are also working on completing ‘vignettes’ on the bridge of Bridge Street.
