Backups Expected On Route 30 East To Route 202 In Exton Area
The ramp from eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to U.S. 202 north in East Whiteland and West Whiteland for about nine months, PennDOT said.

The ramp from eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass to U.S. 202 north in East Whiteland and West Whiteland townships will be limited to one lane for about nine months for replacement of deteriorated concrete pavement, PennDOT said.
Crews set up the single-lane traffic pattern on the ramp overnight Friday, April 6, following nighttime lane restrictions earlier that week on northbound and southbound U.S. 202 for construction at the interchange.
Starting Wednesday, April 11, motorists on eastbound U.S. 30/Exton Bypass approaching U.S. 202 should allow extra time for travel through the work area, or use an alternate route, as significant backups are expected during the morning and afternoon rush hours through late fall for the duration of the ramp repair operation.

The ramp repairs are being done under PennDOT’s $26.4 million project that also includes rehabilitation of the northbound and southbound U.S. 202 bridges over Amtrak at the U.S. 30 Interchange.
In late 2017, PennDOT completed replacement of the deteriorated concrete from the outside lane of the two-lane ramp from southbound U.S. 202 to U.S. 30 and the U.S. 30/Exton Bypass.
